Discord has done TOO MUCH to us users!
We must help ourselves!
Say goodbye to Discord now or keep using the devilish app...

What happened?

This is simple, since many years, Discord has been doing way too much bad updates!
From terrible new UIs to plenty of cash grabs to even have garbage moderation that banned you for sending SQUARES.....
This app is also filled with people that I like to call 'E-Gangsters', they're trying to be cool and edgy hackers (and fails miserably :P) yet they're really annoying
Discord never respected our privacy!!! They've got users ID breached and leaked once and they've used garbage age-verify systems that were storing your ID CARDS to work with the FBI!!!!
And now they're using some bad AI age check AGAIN.
Discord KNOWS about all of these issues, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY OF IT.
They are MONEY-HUNGRY and we must NOT feed them that much!

Why should I care about 'privacy'?

See, privacy isn't about 'I'm an anonymous dude and I'm doing illegal shit online!!', it's about not being tracked everywhere you go
And, don't you dare saying 'I got nothing to hide' because they DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU HIDING ANYTHING, they want money by selling your data
Which 'your data' can sometimes be simple IP Addresses to even HOME ADRESSES or even CREDIT CARD INFORMATIONS, websites use TOO MUCH stuff for that
Discord isn't an exception, and K-ID isn't neither, if you're wondering, all of your data is prob online rn accesible by anyone, data breaches, data brokers and MORE
And you MUST fight that, the point isn't to prevent it but limit it, because you just cannot prevent it entirely
Websites uses A LOT of stuff to build a specific profile out of you and then predict you, yk the kind of moment like "Omg how did Spotify knew I was gonna listen to that?!"
Well now you know how, they predict you to push you to purchase stuff, to give you very specific ads and MORE

So.. What now? Am I just gonna leave the Internet???

Well no, smartass! You need to use alternatives that respects your privacy more than what Discord does, here's a list I've done myself:

• Fluxer - Prob the best choice at the moment, got most features, 50% cheaper premium, tho it isn't extremely stable so expect bugs.
• Guilded.gg - Used to be the best option, now closed by Roblox...
• Signal - Simply a messenger, it's pretty stable yet there isn't any 'servers' nor 'bots' feature and prob will never be.
• Element - Prob the most stable option right now, it's stable + has many features and got no such thing as 'premium' afaik.
• Matrix - From what I know, Element is based on it, it works great and has many open source servers/clients made for it.
• Stoat(Formerly Revolt) - An open-source platform designed to mimic Discord's user interface and feature set as closely as possible, it's stable as it tries yet works fine.
• Kloak - Tried it back in 2025, had several issues and a few missing features, yet it works great and does respects your privacy well enough for most people.

Do I REALLY need that?

No. You're not FORCED to it, it's your choice, I'm only telling facts, now you do what you want from it.
If you want to keep Discord, which is sad but currently understandable, you do it, just keep in mind that this may be the reason why alternatives wont grow up to more stable and popular!
